Fascinating story! I wonder, though, couldn’t this work the other way round as well? As something Trump’s opponents spread to discredit him? Just for clarification, I’m not a Trump supporter, this man is sick and shouldn’t have let come that far, but I’m also skeptical.
Is this for real???? Am I living in fiction???? Great episode, Benjamen. Your podcast is a fave.
Speaking of surveillance, USA TODAY has a really strange live feed of Inauguration Day. No news commentary, no reporters, just a live feed that switches between cameramen. It’s being shot from strange angles that give the feel of CCTV and all audio is environmental. You can hear people talking in the background. It has shown everything from the speech, to the performances, idle moments outside the white house, the luncheon, and currently the parade. It’s really strange but super interesting.
Go check it out if you haven’t seen it. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2017/01/20/watch-live-video-donald-trump-inauguration/96673728/
I honestly thought this was going to be an art project about how easy it is to spread fake news. Info on the book on Amazon showed a few really recent reviews and it wasn’t available to buy. I thought this was brilliant! Then, I dug deeper and found the book was indeed real. Wow.
Alleged meetings and tons hearsay? This sounds bogus.

This felt like an episode of coast to coast AM. You know, that show on am radio that has Bigfoot experts on in the middle of the night. Crazy people looking for attention being given a platform to do so.
