Our Surveillance miniseries continues with a special holiday episode. Your host visits both the glass room ( a fake pop up store) and the Google pop up store (a real pop up store).
It might be mentioned that the Palantir is a device from the Lord of the Rings that allows the Evil Wizard Sauron to spy on people and places. The fact that a surveillance company would call themselves this is kind of creepy. It’s nearly as bizarre as the energy drink named “Soylent”, which harkens back to the movie Soylent Green where the world future food supply is made from people.
